What Your Company Will Look Like??

June 1, 2020

For those companies that are weathering the storm, we are being told that there are more changes to come.

Companies that are working their way back up to production are already faced with social distancing, face coverings for all employees, staggered lunches, a limited number of entrances/exits, and in some cases the requirement of taking a daily temperature of all staff members entering the facility to name a few.

One of the biggest change that all manufacturers is faced with is the inability of customers to allow non-company employees into their facility.  Everyone is discussing the difficulty of calling on existing customers or prospective customers.  There is only a certain amount of new business that can be developed over the phone.  It is also extremely difficult to service existing customers if you are unable to speak with someone or visit their facility.

This is something that all suppliers will need to work on and develop a new selling system that meets the needs of the customer and their company.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed for the development and approval of a vaccine that will allow companies to get back to the "new old normal."
