Our Future Workforce

The number one call the association receives relates to not being able to hire enough help, regardless of economic conditions.  Unfortunately young people are not seeing, hearing or feeling us.  We are not on their radar.  According to Allison Deford of the North American Forest Foundation, we must convince young people to turn up the volume and meet them where they are, ONLINE.

She states that a brochure-like website no longer cuts the mustard.   The average consumer is already though over 70% of the buying cycle before they either reach out to you or CLICK order. It is a well-known fact that millennials don’t want to talk to you on the phone.  They do their research beforehand and the material must be at their fingertips and easy to find.
