NEKDA Fall Meeting will be October 29-30 in Waterville, ME at the Best Western Plus Hotel. They have great mill tours of Robbins Lumber, Kennebec Lumber and Pride Manufacturing. Stress relief and dinner on Tuesday, and on Wednesday several interesting and helpful technical presentations and their Kiln Operator’s Clinic. These will provide excellent opportunity to see at Robbins and Kennebec, respectively, white pine and hardwood sawing and kiln drying, value added manufacturing of pine planing, profiling and prefinishing and hardwood flooring manufacturing, and manufacture of high volume, precision quality wood items at Pride Mfg. – each great examples of critical importance of quality drying processes and procedures!
